Not just for Japanese flavors!

My ramen dish looks like a dish with traditional Japanese flavors, but it’s not! Reduce your salt intake with this fun recipe!

First, I sautéed the carrots, edamame and jalapeño in avocado oil and minced garlic. About half way thru, I added in chopped roasted red peppers and 3 tablespoons of the oil from that jar along with a squeeze from 1/2 of a lime. Finally, toss in a pinch of salt and pepper.

I used organic jade pearl rice ramen noodles – boiled for about 4 minutes.

Once the noodles are finished, drain, then mix in the veggies. Add a little more oil and lime juice if you think it’s needed. Now, move all this to your bowl and top with sweet pea sprouts, sliced jalapeño, and purple radish and a sprinkle of black sesame.

A nice serving of vegetable protein and bursting with flavors!!!
