Props to Mike’s Organic Curry Love for bringing us this Sri Lankan Curry Sauce. The box is so pretty I just couldn’t help but stop and pick it up and I’m so glad I did!

I’ve had the pleasure of being welcomed into the home of a very dear man and family from Sri Lanka – and enjoying an authentic Sri Lankan meal. I can’t say this packaged sauce comes close to that particular meal, but I do love the reminiscent flavors and how simple it is to prepare!

All I did was cook some short grain brown rice and sauté some veggies. Mix the sauce in with the veggies and voila – done!

I topped with my fav garden sweet peppers and some celery sprigs. I’m not gonna lie, it’s not toooo spicy, but I did catch myself wiping the sweat off my brow toward the end of the meal! 🥵
