Chillin with some Chocolates!

So I made chocolates – Maybe something my hubby will eat!

This was so easy! I think it’s just A matter of having all of the ingredients. First melt the cocoa butter in a bowl over boiling water. It melts quickly so you bring the water up to a boil, turn off the heat, drop on the butter shavings and stir. Next I added in about the same ratio of the cocoa powder, about 1.5 tablespoon agave and a pinch of salt.

For the candy mold I used an ice cube tray. First I filled a few with a blend of walnuts and cashews, and the rest chopped dates and coconut. I sprinkled some chili lime seasoning on a few just for some added spice. Then I topped with a pinch of sea salt.

I also dipped some frozen pineapple in the chocolate remaining in the bowl…nothing goes to waste here!

These are really sweet but you can temper that with the amount of agave or sweetener you use. Great to have on hand but I certainly won’t over indulge!!
