I heard someone say “wasabi” today and I immediately knew what was for dinner. But with my special twist, of course.
However, #1, there’s no seaweed in the house, and #2, no fish. No worries, I got this.
I replaced the seaweed with cabbage, and just skipped the fish – who needs it when you have yummy veggies?!? I also added some lentils to the rice to mix it up a bit.

I love wasabi and amino acids – and let’s face it – no matter what’s in the roll these two ingredients really make the sushi!
I made 2 rolls and then decided a “salad” would be so much easier!
So – this dish is an example of eating foods that can disturb your system – I’m getting more sensitive to salt as I get older. Even though amino acids have less sodium then soy sauce, it’s still saltier and adds a higher sodium content then what I would eat during a normal meal. But lots of water will help. As you back ingredients out of your diet completely for a period of time (3 months?) and then gradually add things back in – you learn so much about your system which helps you to ultimately feel your best at all times!
